ABOUT ME

My name is Jameila! Pronounced (Ja-Me-La)
I am a southern Georgia native, that grew up in Brunswick. From a little kid to starting out my teenage years, I wanted to be an orthopedic surgeon, and then my freshman year of high school changed all that! Growing up I have never had a problem performing in front of others. I did praise dances and skits in church, and I was even in a dance academy for a few years, but I never considered performance as a career. In 9th grade I joined a drama class just to do it, in my fall and spring semesters, and for the spring semester, we had to be in the musical to pass the class...Let's just say that sparked a flame in me, and I've been pouring gasoline on it ever since!

Speaking of sparks...I am now a senior at Valdosta State University pursuing a BFA in Theatre Arts with a focus in Performance, and I graduate in the spring of 2025. Go Blazers!

I love sports and I am very competitive! My favorite sports are volleyball, basketball, and football. I used to play volleyball in school for 4 years but stopped to focus on acting. However, I still play for fun with friends!
I absolutely love to laugh and believe that laughter is medicine. I love the Lord, hanging with family and friends, traveling, nature, and trying new foods! Thank you for taking the time to stop by. Blessings!
